As Assistant Football Coach

This group is so special and I will never forget this team. The coaches committed to shifting the culture to be sure we give the 47 players to wear that Bertie across their chest have a memorable season. There was so many obstacles we faced before taking a single snap. All away games, creating space just to have practice, setting new standards and be sure that we gain the trust of our players so there was an environment to learn intangible skills that could be used on and off the field. Through it all I learned so much in the process. Meeting players where they at in order to get the absolute best effort day in and day out. Every player set goals prior to the season and so many of them accomplished those goals. We taught these guys how to manifest what they want out of this game and out of life and to see reach those goals spoke volumes. Winning a playoff game for the first time since 2007 and winning more games this season than Bertie did in the last 3 years was a true testament of being apart of something bigger than yourself.
